The Command Station is such a magnificent piece of gear that I think
if one is basing their performance setup on the Command Station, it is
useful to have a small, low-power, inexpensive PC or Mac OS9.xx
machine (imac or ibook) if for nothing else, just for eloader. You
could purchase a $150 imac and a $40 MIDI interface and you would be
all set.

Alternatelively, if one is a mac-only person, maybe the most expansive
and forward-looking choice would be to begin dabbling in XP (add it to
your arsenal). I think I see less problems there than I do in OSX for
pro audio apps.
