Set it up as follows: KARMA MIDI OUT -> MIDI SPORT A IN XL-7 MIDI OUT -> MIDI SPORT B IN MIDI SPORT A OUT -> XL-7 IN MIDI SPORT B OUT -> KARMA IN. This has the two outs swapped from your original. Why the change? Because unless you do as I recommend there is no way for the KARMA and the XL-7 to control each other without the PC being directly involved. The MIDI Sport has a THRU switch that basically connects IN-A to OUT A and IN-B to OUT-B. If you hook up as I described and engage the THRU feature the XL-7 and the KARMA will be effectively hooked up together and will not need the PC for any involvement. The alternative to doing as I suggest is to use a program like MIDI-OX to do the MIDI patching. drk www.delora.com/music www.mp3.com/zdrk drk.iuma.com
