The SONIQ card is the follow-on ROM to the Sounds of the ZR card. It contains sounds from the ASR-X EXP-1 Real World and EXP-3 Urban Dance expansion boards.

So, ferrograph is on the right track. All E-mu *module* sound ROMs have 5 chips, 4 8MB chips for sample data and one 1-2MB chip for preset/riff/arp/etc data.
