Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi All.

I have just picked up a midi-guitar interface and am playing around 
with some of the sounds on my P2500. My Roland GI-20 sends on midi 
ch01 for all strings **or**  ch1 for string 1, ch02 for st 2, 3 for 
st 3 etc. 

I want to be able to set my P2500 to receive CH01 on any number of 
track so that I can layer a few different sounds together. IE by 
having tracks 1 - 6 with different sounds (or whatever) respond to 
the same "input" midi channel. 

IE : I want to set the midi input channel for each P2500 track 
individually.  

Can this be done, and if so ... how?  

I've read the manual and gone through all of the track / midi menus 
and can't find this anywhere. Help would be much appreciated.
