You know, a couple things occur to me: 1. With this major jump in selling price... many of us won't bite at those types of numbers, but you may see a rash (like two or three) of CS-80s come up for auction by people that would rather have that kind of bread than the synth. I've seen that happen before. We would then find out if the true market value is $15,000, or if there was just one rich guy that had no issue taking the plunge on that Buy It Now. 2. With market values so high, this can only help produce solutions for long-term survivability - whether a reissue of IG ICs, or production of discrete replacements.
