Its really not that suprising that the CS80 would sell for $15,000 considering putneys and synthis fetch $5k or more on a regular basis.. i think over the last 3 or 4 years synth prices have totally shot up.. even faster then previous years. 2600s and jP8s sell for $4k plus on ebay all the time.. in the early 2000s they could be had for $2k on a weekly basis. prophets 5 are still undervalued in my opinion ;) 10-20 years from now I think it will be shocking what a maintained CS80 will be worth.. and of course there will be fewer parts and qualified technicians to work on them. > > 1.
