Steve, At least then you don't have almost endless boards and sockets to deal with (CS80 can be quite daunting, especially the top side circuits) The CS50/60 does not have that many CMOS when compared with the CS80 (no polyphonic aftertouch). Also, there is already decoupling on the boards (The 0.1uf ceramics) and i would not use the sockets with the capacitors unless needed. Here are the correct Mill-Max sockets and digikey part numbers and manufacturer part numbers. IC SOCKET 16POS .300" DIP GOLD ED3316-ND 110-93-316-41-001000 Mil-Max IC SOCKET 14POS .300" DIP GOLD ED3314-ND 110-93-314-41-001000 Mil-Max IC SOCKET 8POS .300" DIP GOLD ED3308-ND 110-93-308-41-001000 Mil-Max To my knowledge it is not possible to add more voices. I have not attempted nor will i in the future. Andrew > dzlvs8@... <dzlvs8@...> wrote: > > Actually my instrument is worth a lot less. I havent been blessed with > a cs80 yet.
