hi folks, im wondering if anyone out there has ever played on of these.im assuming they dont share any of the architecture of the gx-1 family, right? on a related note, what models of early yamaha "organs" are closest to the gx-1?

I have a Yamaha E70U (the "U" was later model of the E70), that is
basically two 7-voice CS80's for each 61-key manual in an organ body.

The DK-40 did not use the Yamaha Pulse Analog Synthesis System (PASS)
which came about 7 years later with the CS80 and the E70 and E70U. The
Yamaha PASS architecture was developed based on lessons learned from
building the GX1 in discrete components.
