square and sawtooth wave

square and sawtooth wave

2005-04-13 by Max Fazio

Hi all
Can anybody give me details about the CS-80 square wave ? Is it a regular shaped wave or is it distorted? Anyone did any measure process?
about the sawtooth: has the CS-80 st wave a classic saw ( phase x to 0 ) progression or is it better a ramp (0 to x) ?
Thanks for any reply!
Max

My study of the IG00153 VCO is here:

http://www.cs80.com/vco.html

The output ofthe 153 is a sawtooth. The output of the 158 is the
inverted sawtooth. This is what goes to the filters through a FET gate.

The pulse waveform is pretty regular as it is a simple comparator-type
circuit inside the IG00158.

Thx Crow
I already knew your wonderful study , I just didn't remember you put also the oscilloscope view of the inverted saw.
Thx again!
