Anyone know about the CS80 that was just on eBay?

Anyone know about the CS80 that was just on eBay?

2004-08-17 by David Rogoff

Hi all.

There was a CS80 on eBay the last few days - item #3741749580. The
auction just dissapeared, a couple of days before it was supposed to
end. This was just the last of many wierd things about the auction.

The unit looked pretty good and had all the accessories. However,
there were some wierd things going on: there's an unmarked toggle
switch on the panel to the left of the keyboard. The guy selling it
says the keyboard is in NYC, but he's in Italy. He wouldn't answer
questions about the keyboard, other than what looked like a canned
email response with some attached pictures. He offered to end the
auction early for $3k, including shipping, and he set up the auction
so that you couldn't see who was bidding.

The guy's name is Ceofi Saffie (algsdatryta@...). Anyone know
more about this keyboard or the seller or who bought it?

Thanks!

 David

i wrote to ebay abut this auctions since a french friend of mine got
ripped with exactly the same photos and text and someone from italy.
I hate it when people rip you off, glad to see ebay is investigating
matters.
