Most of the lead sounds I program wind up sounding cold and glassy. I 
could tame this with EQ but if I knew how to program it would help.

Filter questions: How do you usually set the key track? When would you 
use the band eliminate filter and what do you usually set the band pass 
filter? Resonance seems to really affect the band pass filter.

Do you use the sync feature? There's three sync settings--master, 
slave, and both. Which sounds better? FM settings: is it better to use 
master, slave, or both. I never can remember which is master and which 
is slave.

Do you layer sounds or just keep basic one or two osc patches. I have 
the best luck with simple sounds.
