No the AN1X does NOT have a DX card. It s a totally different synth engine. If you want DX200 type FM sounds, check out Native Instruments FM7. All of my FM

I just bought my an1x a couple of weeks ago as a main controller and synth and so far I love it - they keys feel great - the step seq. and wide array of arp.

It might not have to get that expensive to fix though, i heard of one with similar problems, and it was just a cable connector that had come loose inside it.

You are (fortunately) mistaken, good sir. AN1x Edit changes the synth when you make changes in the program. So you would say that it s a real-time update.
