Hi Zack,
My name is Nigel Wright.
I studied electronics in 1980 and got my City and Guilds T224 in industrial electronics.
My first job was working for a company that designed modems and Prestel adaptors.
I started off as a test engineer but quickly moved up as they realised I could also repair and design the equipment better than their current designer.
I was there for 3 years but was offered a job as an electronics design consultant.
This was where I got involved with PIC's, my boss had previously worked for general instruments on one of the first PIC'.s
I did this for around 14 years.
I was made redundant and was taken on by another design company for 4 years as chief design engineer.
Nigel.

I'm a moderator on 6 lists and an owner of one. It still amazes me what
some people will do to get spam advertising onto these Yahoogroup lists.
Most owners and moderators are leery of people who join and immediately
post spam e-mails. They usually get the boot.
However, I didn't see that to be the case in Harry's (is that your name?)
e-mail.
