Hmm, You know, I have this happen with my Tiny26 boards too. They just start doing something "else" every once and a while and I can't figure out why. In most cases if I hold down the reset while I power the boards on, they work. And the vast majority of the time the boards work

Suggestion: Get a development board which supports download of your code via the serial port. Super easy. Download via a wireless link if you wish (I do so via a LANTRONX WiPort using WiFi to high speed serial). The PRLLC Atmega32 is a good one. Comes with serial port bootloader
