Hi, well, the VZ-1 is clearly a digital Synth, there are no filters and no knobs so you can't compare it to Juno or Moog it's something completely different. Soundwise it's rather comparable with DX7&Co, it's a nice and cool digital synth, just download the tutorials, books and give yourself time to get into this thing. Anyway I don't want to convince you to keep it since it's quite a bit more complex than a subtractive synth...... ...Summa On 29 Oct 2003 at 23:14, reiket wrote: > hi folks. > > i am new in this group eventhough i have had my vz-1 for more than 2 > years now. i never really put time into this machine as a synthie > since i use it as a midi-controller. > > well, things changed and i am seriously looking for some nice bass > now. and all the sudden i thought: hey, what about that vz-1-synthie > infront of your nose?? as far as i have tried it you can get some nice > but shy sounds out of it. but is there a way to actually get some real > exciting basses out of the vz-1????? i am already at the point to get > rid of it and by an old micromoog or a juno 60 or something in order > to keep a master-controll but instead gaining a few sounds with it. > unless you guys have good reasons not to do so??!!! > > many thanx in advance, > > serifONE > > > > > > ------------------------ Yahoo!
