RE: [CZsynth] VZ-8M

That was a steal I think that I paid $200 for my VZ-8m in the early 90s.
With a cards and manuals too. Some people have said that those manuals are
hard to read but at least they're packaged well, nice and thick and bound
well.

You're going to love theCZ-1, it's like the "real" CZ. You can map the
velocity to the DCW "cutoff" and the DCA level, this really makes the CZ a
lot more expressive. I got a CZ-1 after playing a CZ-1000 for many years, I
was very impressed with the CZ-1. You're going to love it.

Speaking of the old CZs does anyone here know what the release dates and
original prices were for the CZ series? If I remember right I got my new
CZ1000 around '86 for somewhere around $300.

I got myself so worked up chatting about it here, I bought a VZ-8M
shortly
after this discussion earlier today for $100 with docs, as well as
one RAM
and one ROM cart. Should be pretty cool. Don't know when it will
arrive by
	mail.

Discovered this page, which has a lot of cool VZ tips:

Should also be getting my new (to me) CZ-1 on Wednesday... It's the
replacement for my 15-year old, totally trashed CZ-5000. I've never
played
a CZ synth with velocity and aftertouch before, so this should be a
neat
	experience...

	I'm a Casiophile; what can I say?
