Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

hey there, i'm new to the list. i signed up to learn more about my  
cz-101 (which mostly means figure out to install some patches - seems  
pretty straightforward but haven't done it yet).

this caught my eye:

> a Roland R8 or R8M with an 808 (electronic) and a 909 (dance) card


where would you get the 808 and 909 cards? are they something that was  
manufactured at the time or would you have to make your own? i guess  
this would be akin to using 808 or 909 sounds on an mpc or other  
sampler?
