Buy 'em off ebay. I was lucky - I got 6 cards thrown in with my R8.

Manufactured by Roland. Though they are all basically sample based.

Sort of missing the point I wanted to make. It's more like the other
kits that are very 80's. Everyone does 808 & 909 sounds, and as
they're '80s sounds, they also need to be included. If you want 808
sounds, there are other good sources. If you want to sound like Stock
Aitkien and Waterman with a minimum of outlay and work, then the R8 is
perfect.

Also, 808 & 909 cover either very specific timeframes, or very
specific music styles. Most music from the '80s does NOT use either of
these. And a LynnDrum was the weapon of choice of you could afford
it...
