Hi Steve, Thanks for the info about the VZ. I'm trying to control the individual voice parameters of the VZ with sysex strings, not so much the things you mentioned with CC's. I just found the sysex chart - it's already here on this site! It's in the VZ Docs folder in the FILES section, in individual GIF pages. Also, Fran just sent me the PDF version of the document and I've just uploaded it into that same folder. So we now have it in both formats. It seems as though the VZ has a sysex command for just about every parameter, starting on p9 of the document. Things like waveform, attack, decay envelope, osc volume levels etc. are what I'm hoping to control, and it seems that the commands are there to do it. Now I just gotta sit down and figure it out... Unfortunately with both Casio CZs and VZs, we do not hace access to edit individual sound parameters through sysex commands. I am sure there are a lot of us Casio owners that wish we could!! > > The only way I can think of to get this is if someone (or a group of people) finds a way to create an alternate VZ Operating System. I believe there are people here that might know how to do that (if it can be done), but I am not sure anyone would have the time for such a massive project. > > I know I saw one of the VZ sysex manuals on line somewhere. It was snapshots of individual pages, not a pdf. Try the following places: rhe files section here, the files section in the CZ-VZ overflow group, Steve and Sally's VZ site. > > The Waveidea Bitstream 3X sounds like a very handy controller. If the manual is online, could you put up the link?
