CZ - VZ Patch Compatability

2009-10-23 by steve_the_composer

I have recreated some CZ patches (my own) on the VZ by hand. A few years ago, we discussed a project to map CZ voice architechture to the VZ voice architechture. If that could be done, it might be possible to write a program to automate the conversion process. Personally, I'd rather spend time creating new patches to take advantage of the VZ.

As for converting VZ patches to work on the CZ, I think that would be impossible for at least 90% of available VZ patches, either by sysex or by hand (or perhaps should I say "by ear).
