Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Hi CZ-fellows,
 
 
Just wanna ask some really simple questions. I own a CZ-1000 but plan to acquire 
this year one of its bigger brothers, too. Soooo...

 
1. Does the CZ-1000 has got an internal backup-battery, in order to keep the oversaved "internal" patches? I noticed, that my gear even "forgets" the internals....
 
2. Does the RA-3 fits all the CZ-s? How many patches can be stored into this in case of the:
CZ-1000
CZ-3000
CZ-5000
CZ-1?
 
3. Taking out the sequencer of the CZ-5000, the aftertouch keyboard and the extra memory of the CZ-1, can we state, that the CZ-3000, CZ-5000 & CZ-1 are basically the 
same synths?
 
4. Are the CZ-3000, CZ-5000 and CZ-1 multitimbral?
 
5. Has anybody got any idea/suggestion how can I make my CZ-1000 respond to a sustain pedal? I tried this thru another keyboard (via midi) but the CZ-1000 didn't delivered the desired effect (which of course all my other synths do in such manner). Being sad about this :(
 
6. There are some hard to find mystical CZ/PD synthesis books out. Any sharing suggestion, any offer, guys?
 
7. And the last silly one :) Pictures on the web are inexact in this way, so:
Is the CZ-3000 black-colored?
Is the CZ-5000 black or gray-colored ?
Is the CZ-1 black-colored?
