Hi,

Memory Protect off, the little switch at the backside/rear of the 
synth...
MIDI button should lit = set to on, also get you into the sysex 
ena/dis menue when pressing up or down afterwards.
System exclusive Tone Data set to ena (enable)

That should do it if I'm not mistaken...
