Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

I am still having trouble with TIME OUT -

 the setting "REMOTE" is set -

but this does not seem to be alterable -

that is it stays on REMOTE -

is there ever a point where it does not say that?

no the "remote" always seems to be under my observations of the fz

I have tried sending the REMOTE CODE but not the OPEN code-
and also -
 when dumping manually from the FZ "SAVE" (to MIDI) 16 bytes are sent -
but I presume the FZ is waiting to be acknowledged from the PC-
but I do not know what to send it -
thus I presume is why it times out.

===it all can be done from the computer, right now i am only doing the
computer side of things
send or recive can be initiated from the computer so you don't need to use
the fz after you set remote mode , and leave the cursor at the remote
place(don't goaway from the remote mode )

I was hoping there'd either be a direct dump from the FZ or a "dump request"
command from the PC -
as it is with the CZ - t
here still seems to be the need for handshaking??

4 states full dump voice dump bank dump effect dump

then near the end ...(.14 1/2 acknowledge,ok midi)
it finally sends some data
but like always get a different check sum within these 128 byte packets????

don't know for certain but got it sending and never error
