Hi!

I also though about making a clone for myself.

My points were:

- more banks with a built in switch
- get rid of the battery problem by using FRAM chips from RAMTRON.

I just had no time to build a prototype...

ra3 is the cz101 cartridge. no clones afaik.
the idea about a mod involving a 3v lithium-if
needed- would be similar to what would be required to
backup a dr550, which relies on batteries(or dumps its
memory). but i'm surpised to hear about cz101s not holding
their patches. been a while though. vz, here.
