Yes, see my later post. No soldering required, it doesn't come in kit form. I would highly recommend the more expensive REV F 3.5" format version, rather than cased or uncased earlier REVs. I didnt get the REV F as it wasnt available when I bought mine, and the real headache was finding a way to mod the case so it would work. With the REV F It should then be a straight swap, just taking the casing off and putting it in. The emax will be fine, it is in the supported devices. The FZ10 is a different story. I thought you were going to come across some issues but I have just discovered it is ALMOST supported. It is supported in a beta version of the windows software. See this forum, about someone fitting it to an FZ1 http://torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=408&start=15 Note I am not affiliated with these guys, I just love old casio gear (loving my new vz-10m) and an fz10 was on my list of future gear to buy. Seeing the HXC will support it soon pushes it up the list somewhat! --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, Carl Lofgren <carl_lofgren@...> wrote: > > Has anyone on the list actually installed the Lothareks floppy emulator? I'm on the edge of ordering one (actually two - one for an Emax I as well). But I'm not a genius when it comes to soldering and stuff.
