Jon, I believe the name of the book was: Sound Synthesis: Analog and Digital Techniques A lot of the book consisted of instructions for building analog modules. It included some explanations of digital technology. In the quote which I refered to, he was talking about the advantages of analog envelopes. (exponential envelopes being more musical) I guess I need to haul out my CZ and test that equation to see how the CZ realy works.
