I agree with the USB interface deal... I use a Midisport 1x1 with Midi-Ox and Windows 7. 
I have a question about the size of your file??? Midi-Ox says 47,176 bytes. All of my VZ-10M sysex files are either 43,094 or 55,958 (with the 8 byte headers) depending on whether they have op-mem's or just voices. This makes me wonder if the file is corrupt.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
