Footnote: Some early synths/manufactuerers, such as the Casio CZ and VZ, had the midi implementation on a separate sheet. I don't know why they did that. Perhaps the user manuals were written before the midi implemetation was finalized. Of course, that didn't bother some manufacturers; they just didn't tell people about undocumented features!
