Can someone point me in the direction for pads and string patches for
the CZ1000 or if anyones got a couple I would appreciate it. I need

Johnny,

Have you got a computer and a MIDI-interface? If so, have a look
through the list of links here:

  http://www.synthzone.com/casio.htm

I recently did. I found myself a good sysex dump program (SendSysex)
and a bunch of patches on .syx-format (I think you'll find some
patches in the Files section here as well).

What I do now, whenever I like to get an idea of how to program a
certain type of sound, I send a bunch of patches (from a syx-file
with a name that sounds right) to the CZ, then try them out and work
on the ones I like.

For info on how to send and receive sysex data, read through the
first thread this month. I got some excellent help from Dr. Steve
there on the subject.

Hope this helps.

  Peter

Pete,

Yeah, Im all connected to the computer with Midi. Thanks for the
direction for the sounds. I'll give em a try.

Im having trouble to get the synth to swell smoothly. Im not bad at
programming the envelopes but I just cant seem to get a nice smooth
rise in volume.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
John

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
