Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Hi gang, I just found a CZ-1 in great shape for $150 that I should be 
picking up on Thursday. I was wondering if someone could layout in 
simple terms what parameters the CZ-1 adds to the CZ-3000 patch 
structure? Will I be able to send syx files designed for the CZ-101 
to the CZ-1 without it getting confused? Also, I'm not sure if 
there's a manual included. Where can I find an English PDF manual for 
the CZ-1? Many thanks!

with all orginial manuals plus extras.

Hi Dave,

The CZ-1 adds velocity parameters, one for each envelope.

That should work. The file format is essentially the same.

So basically the patch would upload without any velocity, and I could 
just program that later. No other changes between the synths? Can't 
wait to pick this one up tomorrow. I've been a long time CZ101 fan 
(was one of my first), so it will be great to dabble in PD synthesis 
again!
