VZ VSTi?

VZ VSTi?

2004-09-28 by javamannen2

Hi!

Does a VZ/CZ VSTi (i.e. software emulation) exist? If not, would
there be a market for one? If so, what would be a reasonable price?
Feature suggestions? Feel free to email me:

There's ReFX's PlastiCZ, which is loosely based on the Casio CZ
architecture. Easy to operate and sounds great, even if it's not an exact
emulation of a CZ-101.

I'm not certain if there's anything out there that attempts to recreate the
PD architecture of the VZ series, though. Closest things that come to mind
are actually FM emulations.

I'd rather recommend VAZ modular for a CZ emulation, it pretty good emulates all
the needed waveforms with its Cosmo Oscillators and has complex envelopes. When
it comes to the VZ, Sytrus pretty much can do the things a VZ can do, since it
combines FM with Ringmodulation...
An emulation might be interesting when its able to load the presets, since the CZ
has quite a library I think...
