Everybody, What effect box do you run your CZ through. Is there one paticualar that seems to work well with the CZ magic. I know Alesis seems to put out some good products. I use VST effects but I don't think there is a way to get these to respond to the CZ's in real time so I'm looking into getting some effect "do everything"(but small...has to be small)box. Any suggestions... micah

Hi Micah, the TX802 probably needs the FX even more than the CZ, in case you got one... I'm currently using the onboard FX of my two Yamaha DSP Factory Cards but at the end I mostly record the FXless synths dry and add some Effects later... If it has to be small, Behringer is putting out a very small affordable box soon. http://www.behringer.com/FEX800/index.cfm?lang=ENG Lexicon released this year a nice multi-fx unit with different routing options for the two stereo engines. It's a little more expensive of course... ;) http://www.lexiconpro.com/mx200/index.asp ...Summa On 8 Aug 2005 at 23:43, yazzofever wrote: > Everybody, > > What effect box do you run your CZ through. I used to put my CZ101 through the Boss pedals I had at the time, a CE2 chorus, DS1 distortion (or SD1...the orange one) and thePhaser pedal, the PH1r I think. Either individually or in combination. Worked great especially on lead stuff. That was in the good old days of recording onto 4 track portastudio. Now, I record clean onto the PC and use whatever I have at my disposal. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "yazzofever" <yazzofever@y...> wrote:

I run my CZ-101 through a MAM warp9 filter, which is designed after the edp wasp synth... warms it a little bit and allows for some extra modulations. Mikael Altemark bigcraigie13 wrote:
