Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Is there a Casio guru out there who could help me? I've just got a VZ-10M and can't get my 
head round how to turn sounds off/on in Operation Memory mode. I just want to turn off one 
or two of the individual voices that make up a patch in Operation Memory. So, for example in 
the Oh God patch (A-1) I want to get rid of the bell sound or change it for something else.

Please help if you can. . .

Its been a while since I programmed sounds in my VZ-8m, but as I 
recall, you cannot change oscilators/modules in Op-Mem mode. The 
patch has to be in one of the basic modes (e.g., Normal, Combi). 
There, you can switch oscilators/modules around; but keep in mind 
you are not really turning voices on and off because of the iPD 
structure of the synth engine. So if a particular patch has a bell 
sound to it, that MIGHT be the result of a modulation structure used 
and not a specific osc creating a bell sound.

If you rewrite the edited patch in the basic mode, your Op-Mem 
should reflect the change, since Op-Mem's contain pointers to the 
basic patches (if I remember correctly).

Congrats on the VZ-10m. Some of our users created some banks of VZ 
patches. They are either here in the files section, or at

Hi Steve
Thanks for The infor and the link! As soon as I got home after writing the message asking 
for help a penny dropped and I realised the thing about editing in Normal/Combi mode 
instead of Op Mem. Now just have to conquer the editing bit.

I paid £99 for a good condition (but dull LCD) VZ-10m but the average is about £140 up 
to 162 on a good day!
