How do I change the patter sounds on the HT 6000. There are some buttons on the right of it that I press and they don't change.

Could you be a bit more specific - I have a couple of HT types and might be able to help - are you saying the normal program change buttons are not changing the sounds?

It's an HT6000 and I can't use the pads note the tones to change the sound.

I am assuming that you are aware that the HT models will not allow the tones to be altered whilst the MODE button has been switched to altering a parameter, only if the display shows the TEMPO will the buttons actually work. Outside of that it is unlikely that all the buttons have failed so if the MODE button is not the source of the problem then it might be the actual electronics that deal with button processing - in which case I can't be of much help.
