Hi, I'm AEJOTZ, synth player

Hi, I'm AEJOTZ, synth player

2013-05-07 by howard tate

I make synthesizer music. I hand-play almost all parts one at a time using a multi-track recorder. My primary synth is a Microkorg but I use a CZ-101 more and more. I like boingy sounds and the CZ is the boingiest synth around. (It's just not as easy to program as the MK.) You can hear all my synth music at http://aejotz.com

My recent tune "sync" (as in syncopation) is 100% CZ-101. All the tunes from 2012 are all MK (just to see if I could), but most tunes from 2011 have at least some CZ. You'll probably recognize the CZ Tomita whistle right off. I think the tune "napoleon" is mostly CZ.

I seem to to the most playing in the autumn, and this year I expect to use the CZ a lot more, since I found a few hundred cool patches online.

If anyone else plays music even remotely similar to mine, I'd like to hear it.

I recommend the "TROJAN" stuff and stuff off the singles list as it is more recent.

I have been listening to your music. Will give it a blast tomorrow as I am up late!

Hi, AEJOTZ. Good to see you over here, too. I don't have as active a presence here as I used to, but I still read stuff and occasionally chime in. Actually I have cut my time at e-m.com down, too. Haven't done a show in a few weeks (long story--audio issues, time demands, etc.). Anyhow, I hope some people here find your music as enjoyable as I have over the years.--Steve

LOL--not more than 90 seconds after I posted this message a tune of yours came onto the stream. (Yes, I recognized it immediately!).

Now Playing: A E J O T Z | A E J O T Z ~ a lone and lonely robot surveying Titan

Cosmic Coincidence!!!
