CZ3000 Midi Issues

CZ3000 Midi Issues

2013-11-19 by <ianwebster04@...>

I have a CZ3000 and it appears to have serious MIDI connection issues. If I try and trigger it from another Keyboard or Sequencer it either will not respond or will play random notes at random intervals:

This leaves me with a couple of options:

  1. Take it apart and see if there is anything obvious with the Midi board (I am supposing that it is on a separate circuit board)
  2. Sell it on Ebay as non-working item
  3. Break it down into spares and sell those separately

Anybody else had similar issues and can throw some light on where to look or offer advice on the best way to move forward..
