Hey there, I wrote this reply yesterday, but it seems to have been lost in the digital nirvana :) I did the full potentiometer upgrade, and though it is pricey, i love it. You get all 3 new encoder boards including all control hardware and displays (except the prophet knobs who you might want to add to your order). There are still a few rotary encoders where you need them ( the 2 parameter knobs to the right of the display and about every knob that controls source/destination/frequency etc.), so you can still do precise navigation. In the sequencer section are pots, which is somewhat strange. If you need to know which knobs are pots exactly, I can give you an overview. If you only have trouble with jumping values, try the deoxit cure from here: http://www.davesmithinstruments.com/support/pek_maintenance.php first. I don't need to see all values, because I can hear if a filter sounds right ;) Concerning the encoder replacement: do yourself a favor and write an email to support@... . They are a really nice bunch and wil be able to help you - because it's the people that built 'em :) Hope I could help you!
