The soundcard, usually of the Soundblaster variety, would have a multi-pin joystick connection to which you could connect a MIDI adaptor, easily found at any local computer store or online music store. Many computers, like Dells, that have sound capability built into the motherboard disable it automatically when you insert a dedicated card. Alternatively, if you have a USB port, you can get a Midiman Midisport or a Yamaha UX Midi cable to do the job. Ed
