Many thanks for the invitation and for the introduction to the group! I too would love to see the discussions here expanded to topics on drumming skills and techniques, as well as discussions on the music we play with our e-drums, and not just those on the subject of specifically Yamaha kits. I too would like to explore the world of alternative, pattern, bespoke and DIY pads. I've heard a lot about the Pintech range but never had the chance to try any out as yet. I have a Roland kit at the moment but would like to explore the world of Yamaha modules amongst others, especially as I've been lucky enough to test out a prototype electronic kit from an entirely different manufacturer recently. There's lots to cover and a whole heap more to learn. So here's to "Xplor-ing" the world of e-drums from the Yamaha perspective and "Xpress-ing" ourselves in this family-friendly and all-welcoming online community. Sorry ... I just couldn't resist! ;-) Regards, Cat Lake -- 'Princess of Percussion' ~ www.catlake.net Bodhran ~ Bongos ~ Djembe ~ V-Drums IM 'cindersworld' on Skype/Yahoo!/MSN/AOL
