I have been interested in trying to get that kind of sound but I thought I would have to layer my ride cymbal with more volume on the ride than on the voice number 2 crash behind it. Its not possible to layer two voices on rims correct? If that was so, then I would like to keep a ride voice on the pad, but have both a crash and ping sound on the edge, although I doubt this can be done to the edge. -UN.H --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, rdamon@m... wrote: > You see this is exacting why you should have a ten year old around when you > put your toys together...they will read the instruction manual.....as for > me.... manuals????...I don't need no stinking manuals..... > > Seriously, I started out with two complete sets and never really set up the > basic set as shown in the diagram.
