This is the "sister" site for the DTXpress group and it has quite a few
links to utilities and such you might be able to make use of. If you are
planning to use the PC with your unit, you will need a MIDI connection to
the unit. Though the DTXpress unit has a "host" jack on the back, I've
had the best luck just using good 'ole MIDI cables from the MIDI
interface on my PC to the MIDI IN/OUT jacks on the DTXpress. Good luck
with your (daughters) new kit. My daughter has played on my kit, but I
don't think she's quite up to having one of her own yet:
