Hi woody, welcome! In case you haven't discovered it yet, have a look here: http://www.dtxpressions.com This is the "sister" site for the DTXpress group and it has quite a few links to utilities and such you might be able to make use of. If you are planning to use the PC with your unit, you will need a MIDI connection to the unit. Though the DTXpress unit has a "host" jack on the back, I've had the best luck just using good 'ole MIDI cables from the MIDI interface on my PC to the MIDI IN/OUT jacks on the DTXpress. Good luck with your (daughters) new kit. My daughter has played on my kit, but I don't think she's quite up to having one of her own yet: http://tinyurl.com/yhxc [yahoogroups/photoalbum] :) Vern -- Vern Graner CNE/CNA/SSE | "If the network is down, then you're Senior Systems Engineer | obviously incompetent so why are we Texas Information Services | paying you?
