As I understand it, the problem is the Eboni won't bond with the glossy
coating. So you won't damage your printer - you'll just be able to rub
the ink off the paper. I've seen something similar with UT14 purge
patterns on glossy paper: The black channel is very very black, and
comes off on my fingers.
