Thanks for your comments Ernst The SS120 carrier accepts 6 x 9, 6 x 7, 6 x 6 and 6 x 4.5 cm. and these are marked on the carrier. Before the carrier is inserted ito the SS120 Input - Mode - allows a choice of formats i.e. Medium Format, 35 mm. slide, 35 mm. film and APS film. As soon as the carrier is inserted this choice is no longer visible. The only frames available are 1 and 2 - as I said the carrier is marked to accept 5 frames at 6 x 4.5 cm. There doesn't seem any way of setting this in VueScan. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Ernst Dinkla <edinkla@...> wrote: > > On 08/20/2011 06:40 PM, Mel wrote: > > I am trying to scan some 6 x 4.5 med. format (ETRSi) B&W negs on a Polaroid Sprintscan 120. > > > > Although the Sprintscan carrier holds 5 frames the Input - Frame Number in VueScan only allows 2 frames to be scanned. > > > > Is there a "workaround" to this problem. > > My guess is that Vuescan expects 6x9 frame sizes for one reason or > another.
