HI Richard; I use an Epson Expression 1600 for contacts and 4x5. It has a decent set of neg carriers and will do a reasonable job of film down to 6x7, though the file size is too small for anything much over letter- sized prints. The current model is the 1680, you might be able to find either on E-bay at a reasonable price. New price for either with a trnsp. scanner lid is around $1000.00.
