Re: [Digital BW] Best bulk feed system?

I agree to earlier posts regarding support - MIS has been very good
for me WRT resolving issues. I used VM on their 1160 CIS, and now use UT.

A few related recommendations - toss out your bulk inks when they
reach their expiration date (MIS now labels theirs with a expir.
date). The pigments tend to precipitate out eventually (at least I
think that's what's happening), and you can get the 'mother of all
proverbial clogs' as a result. Also print out something at least once
a week (preferably even more often), and leave the printer off when
not in use to keep the heads parked where they're less likely to dry out.

I also recommend getting the prefilled carts w/tubes from MIS, rather
than filling your own - much less hassle for very little more $$$'s.

The UT inks and curves yield a remarkably smooth print for a 4 color
printer - I think you'd be pleased with them on the 1160.

Now I just need to bone up on the color options and latest printer
capabilities - time to replace my ancient Photo 750...
