You're right, there seems to be a mistake in the pdf. For an ICC, you need to Let PS Determine the colors. Frankly, the C88 write up was a rush job that may have other mistakes. I haven't use the machine for a while. Let me know if there are other errors. Greetings, This question should probably be directed at Paul Roark, but I'm posting in case anyone else can provide some insight... I recently converted my C88 to MIS EZ-UT inks and I am printing primarily on Crane Museo Silver Rag. I am getting good results but I would like to confirm my tests against Paul's recommended settings to ensure that I am getting the most out of these inks. Unfortunately, there appear to be some inconsistencies in the C88 Glossy instruction PDF (http://home1. <http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/C88_EZ_Slider_settings.pdf> gte.net/res09aij/C88_EZ_Slider_settings.pdf). Specifically, in section 2b, in CS(CS2/CS3) if the print color management setting is to not have PS do any color management, the printer profile drop list is disabled; i.e. I can't select the ICC that matches my paper. Also, if using ICCs, should color management not be disabled in the print driver contrary to what is specified in section 3 "Driver Properties"; i.e. shouldn't this be Color Management->ICM->Off instead of Color Management->Color Controls->Gamma 2.2? If I am not mistaken, what is specified would lead to double profiling or double color management. I apologize in advance if I am misunderstanding the instructions. Thanks in advance, -jk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
