When I said "cheap" i was simply refering to the similarity of the surface to that of the old epson "Cheap" glossy photo paper. This is a diferent paper than the epson premium glossy, which is way more expensive. "Cheap epson photo paper" actually has a pretty nice surface which is exactly the same (almost) as fiba print F. The innova paper is thick. A thick version of the old epson "cheap" glossy photo paper, which is half the price of epson "premium glossy photo paper" which looks and feels like plastic. The innova surface is not something brand new to digital printing. Also, any paper that needs to be sprayed in order to "come together" is simply not a breakthrough paper. many people and articlles have described the innova as a breakthrough paper. Give me a break, ... it has a lot of gloss diff, and needs to be sprayed. It should say that in the reviews and product descriptions. If it looks cheap something is wrong with the workflow. It certainly is thick enough. You know they do make a warm version of it now similar to Silver Rag. I think we all would like to see a little less texture but evidently that is coming if it isn't already available. When it is sprayed with Premier Art it really comes together.
