I really like the Harmon gloss. Closest thing I have ever found to silver. I have looked at them all. Very expensive, but beautiful surface and amazingly high d-max and sharpness. For an RC type paper I have been using Epson Premium Semigloss for years. It is much cheaper and looks really good drymounted. Saying that though, the Harmon is better if you can afford it. One way I have kept cost down is that I have taken and really like Clayton Jones' suggestion of making test prints on 1/4 letter sized pieces. Never thought that would work, but it does wonderfully and saves a bundle on ink and paper. Scott Jones Photography http://www.ScottJonesPhoto.com
