John I'm on a Mac with Netscape. I haven't found a way to enlarge the
type yet in that program, but I'll try your method for explorer and see
if it will work.

Alternatively, you can also press the Control key and roll the mouse wheel
up or down to increase or decrease the size of text.

Jerry,

Depending on how the author codes the HTML for the page, adjusting the
font in IE may or may not work. In this case, I looked at it with IE on
a PC, and telling IE to make the font size bigger didn't actually do
anything. Cut-and-paste into a Word or other document is your only hope
at that point.

You may want to try Mozilla, which is the open source version of what is
now the Netscape browser. It has a text-zoom feature whiched worked
quite well on this particular page (not that I needed it ;-).

it is less buggy in the mail app/prefs etc than the NS7 release. I didn't
notice the text zoom, thanks Jason. It's also in NS7.

I use explorer with a Mac. Command "+" or "-" enlarges or reduces the text.

Jerry,

in Netscape 4.79:

Edit > Preferences > Appearance > Fonts > "Use my fonts"

and specify a larger font. It worked for me on a Mac using Netscape
4.79

Yes, the emails use larger fonts, but not web pages.

This Web page uses style sheets. If the style sheet font attribute is set
to a fixed pixel size, re-sizing fonts via the browser will have no effect.
In Internet Explorer, you can override style sheets by going into Internet
Options and clicking on the Accessibility button. Then click the option to
ignore font styles.

Opera also lets you override style sheet settings. I haven't used Navigator
in so long I don't know what it lets you do.

Move to quarantaine
