1200 clogfs

1200 clogfs

2003-08-06 by Stephen Kobrin

I left my 1200 with MIS VM inks for 2 1/2 weeks and came back to
clogs that will not go away, even after 9-10 cleaning cycles and a
number of full prints. (I use prefilled carts.) While I know this
topic has been covered at length on the list, I would appreciate a
suggestion of a reasonable first step before I delve into the
archives and go at this full tilt.

The strange thing is that there is a great deal of variation in the
nozzle check patterns with some not all bad and other where several
of the inks are hardly there.

Thanks for any help.

Steve

Hi Stephen!

I also had a clog on my 1200, after I installed the ultra tones. I
use a CIS, by the way. Ans the fault it clogged was all mine. But I
went back thru the archives, and other forums, and found a very good
prcedure, buryed within the info at inkjetmall. The cleaning
procedure can be found at:
http://www.inkjetmall.com/store/cone_ts/index.html
Look at # 9: The clog from hell. I followed the instructions, as
countless others have, and in a couple of hours, I was getting
perfect nozzle checks.
Good luck!
